My hometwon is Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China.
I play badminton and basketball.
I am currently or was actively involved in China Philanthropy Leadership Initiative, Harvard SEED For Social Innovation, the Nonprofit Incubator, Cherished Dream Education Foundation, SEE Conservation, and Global Village of Beijing.
My proudest accomplishments are actually during my undergraduate studies when I traveled every summer to visit NGOs to learn how their program were run (now I know this is called field research). Every time I came back from those trips, I will write something about their programs and my observations. Now I constantly go back to those reports to refresh my mind and remind myself how important authentic curiosity is. Here are a few reports I wrote based on my field observations: 玉狮场普米族调研报告.doc; NGO与政府在生态移民村社区发展中的项目模式及影响的对比调研;Cherished_dream_charitable_foundation
You can find my story (in Chinese) about why I came to the U.S. for graduate studies and where my passion for nonprofit studies came from here.
